Columbia Arts and Humanities Preview

You are invited to join us on campus for our annual Columbia Art and Humanities Preview on Monday, October 10, 2016. The event is designed for high school seniors and juniors interested in studying the arts, humanities or languages in Columbia College.

 The afternoon program includes:

• An overview on what’s distinctive about the arts and humanities in Columbia College;
• Master classes led by Columbia arts and humanities faculty;
• A panel discussion with current Columbia undergraduates and recent alumni;
• Detailed breakout sessions about admissions;
• An activities fair featuring arts and humanities student organizations

Check-in will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Broadway entrance to Lerner Hall, between 114th and 115th Streets, during which time an activities fair featuring arts and humanities student organizations will take place. The formal program will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Unfortunately, given the high number of prospective students who wish to visit campus, we do not have the ability to provide funding to attend this program.

If this is your first time visiting our campus, you may wish to attend our general information session and student-led campus tour from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. before the program. Check out the Information Sessions and Campus Tours page for more information and to register; you must register for either or both of these programs separately from the Columbia Arts and Humanities Preview.
