You are invited to join us on campus for our annual Columbia Summer Arts and Humanities Preview on Friday, July 20, 2018. The event is designed for high school seniors and juniors to learn what’s distinctive about studying the arts, humanities or languages at Columbia College.

The following is a tentative schedule for the Columbia Summer Arts and Humanities Preview:

1:00 p.m.Welcome and Introduction to Arts and Humanities at Columbia College
2:00 p.m.Master Classes led by Arts and Humanities Faculty
3:00 p.m.The Artist’s and Humanist’s Admissions Process (for students)
Supporting Your Student (for families and guests)
4:00 p.m.Undergraduate and Alumni Artist and Humanist Panel

*Check-in will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Broadway entrance to Lerner Hall, between 114th and 115th Streets.  The program will officially begin at 1:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

If this is your first time visiting our campus, you may wish to attend our general information session and student-led campus tour before the program from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. respectively. Please visit the Information Sessions and Campus Tours page for more information and to register; you must register for either or both the information session and campus tour separately from the Columbia Summer Arts and Humanities Preview.

Unfortunately, given the high number of prospective students who wish to visit campus, we do not have the ability to provide funding to attend this program.
